Alanah Andrews, like most humans, dislikes writing about herself in the third person. She shares regular snippets of random thoughts on her facebook page and also has a website which occasionally gets updated. She regularly has arguments with herself about whether 1984, Brave New World, or The Handmaid’s Tale are most reminiscent of reality. Alanah’s short stories have been published in a dozen different places and have won a few awards. In 2018 she released her first book, a young adult dystopian novel titled ‘Eve of Eridu.’ Alanah’s story ‘Edge‘ was published in Aussie Speculative Fiction’s anthology ‘Beginnings‘ and she has also had stories featured as part of our weekly flash fiction series. Check out Austin’s review of her novel here.
Alanah is one of fifteen authors who feature in Aussie Speculative Fiction’s second anthology, Journeys, with her short story Level Zero.
In December, ASF published the first of it;s Zodiac anthologies, featuring Alanah’s story ‘The Capricorn Trial’.
